3.6.2 Guiyang’s Inventory of CO2 Emissions from
Freight Vehicles
In general, a motor vehicle emissions inventory can be developed in
two ways: one is travel-based, and the other is fuel-based. For the
study in this chapter, the travel-based approach which is widely used
in China has been adopted. A travel-based motor vehicle emissions
inventory includes both running and start emissions from traditional
fuel cars. The equation is as follows:
