Associate Fellow


Job Profile

Research:
- Undertake technical assessments including rigorous qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- Undertake projects related to water use efficiency and water conservation in industrial, domestic & irrigation sector
- Undertake assessments for policy, regulatory, economic aspects in related areas/sectors
- Formulate strategies for water neutrality and positivity in relevant sectors
- Undertake field visits to industries/ establishments for field work
- Acquaintance with instrumentation such as flow meters, water quality testing, etc.
- Write high quality reports and publications in relevant areas

General responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting project meetings, stakeholder consultations workshops, etc.
- Assist in building relationships with a wider community of industry and government stakeholders in the water domain
- Write proposals, generate projects and business in relevant areas


Experience

2 - 5 Years


Qualification

Master-s degree in water resources or civil engineering or a related branch from a reputed institute. Postgraduates in other disciplines with experience in water resources management may also be considered.


Skills

- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong oral communication skills
- Good writing skills with the ability to write thematic briefs- and reports
- Strong interpersonal and team skills
- High level of energy- initiative- self-motivation- and flexibility in quickly adjusting to new challenges or changing work program requirements
- Knowledge of water resources- water use efficiency- wastewater management- water neutrality and water positivity
-Knowledge of water resources- water use efficiency- wastewater management- water conservation projects such as pond rejuvenation- rainwater harvesting- etc.
-Implementation experience of water conservation & watershed related interventions
