Job Profile

- Isolate, culture, and maintain diverse microbial strains from soil and plant sources
- Optimize growth and culture conditions through microscopy, growth curves and related parameters
- Conduct identification of microbial strains through microscopic and molecular studies
- Document findings, maintain laboratory records, and prepare technical reports and scientific publications.
- Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and should be able to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure compliance with biosafety and laboratory protocols

Qualification

Masters in Microbiology- Biotechnology- Life Sciences- or related field.
- National eligibility tests such as CSIR-NET- GATE or National level examination conducted by central government departments and their agencies such as DST- DBT- etc.

Skills

- Hands-on experience in microbial isolation- culturing- and metabolite screening
- Strong data analysis- troubleshooting- and scientific writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative research environments
