Job Profile

TERI invites applications for the position of Project Engineer (Civil/Structural) to support the
implementation of a critical Jarosite Capping Project in Debari, Udaipur. This project involves the
environmental stabilization and safe capping of industrial byproduct ponds (Jarosite) to ensure longterm sustainability and safety.

Qualification

B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering

Skills

- Review working drawings- site estimation- and material requirements for levelling and filling
- Verify supply of civil- polymeric- and electromechanical materials for capping
- Oversee removal and shifting of PVC liners from geo bags
- Conduct site surveys and measurements for levelling- contouring- and compaction processes
- Review gradient profiles as per contractor-s drawings
- Monitor installation of final cover layers on stabilized slurry ponds
- Provide regular progress reports to the TERI team
- Assist with any other civil engineering tasks as per the Terms of Reference (ToR)
