Job Profile

Provide evidence-based policy analysis and recommendations to support the implementation of the National Critical Mineral Mission.

Draft policy notes, cabinet notes, background papers, and briefing materials for senior government officials.

Develop strategic frameworks, guidelines, and implementation strategies aligned with national priorities and global best practices.

Support the development of roadmaps for exploration, extraction, processing, refining, recycling, and circular economy integration for critical minerals.

Conduct research and technical analysis on global and domestic critical mineral supply chains.

Contribute to regulatory and institutional strengthening related to critical mineral governance.

Support stakeholder consultations and coordination with government agencies, research institutions, industry partners, and international platforms.

Assist in preparation of technical reports, knowledge products, and strategic documents related to India-s mineral security and sustainability goals.

Experience

1 - 3 Years

Qualification

Master-s degree in Geology- Applied Geology- Mineral Economics- Mining Engineering- Earth Sciences- Resource Economics- or a related discipline.

1-3 years of relevant experience in critical minerals- mining policy- mineral economics- resource governance- or related domains.

Experience working with government ministries- international organizations- research institutions- or think tanks will be an advantage.
