Job Profile

-Conduct laboratory experiments related to microbial isolation, culturing, and characterization for PCB degradation studies.


-Perform molecular biology experiments including PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, and related techniques.


-Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, and other relevant equipment.

Assist in field sampling, sample processing, and environmental monitoring activities.

-
Compile, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical tools.


-Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.


-Contribute to preparation of technical reports, project documentation, and scientific manuscripts.

Support timely execution of project milestones under guidance of senior scientists.

Qualification

- M.Tech (Biotechnology)/ M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Environmental Science/ Microbiology / Molecular Biology or related discipline from recognized University/ Institution.
- Minimum 2 years of research experience

- Microbiology techniques (isolation- culturing- microbial characterization)
- Molecular Biology techniques (PCR- DNA/RNA extraction- electrophoresis- etc.)
- Experience in Analytical Chemistry techniques such as:
o Gas Chromatography (GC)
o High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
o Other relevant analytical instrumentation
