Project Associate - LCA


Job Profile

-LCA, carbon footprint analysis, and environmental impact assessments for energy, transportation, industrial, and resource systems.
-Develop and apply sustainability assessment methodologies, system boundaries, life cycle inventories, and impact assessment frameworks.
-Perform quantitative analysis, environmental modelling, and scenario-based assessments to evaluate sustainability and decarbonization pathways.
-Undertake literature reviews, data collection, validation, and synthesis of scientific and technical information.
- Analyze environmental, energy, and resource-related datasets to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support techno-economic assessments and sustainability evaluations of emerging technologies and low-carbon solutions.
-Coordinate with project partners, industry stakeholders, government agencies, and research institutions for data collection and project implementation.
-Contribute to technical reports, policy briefs, research papers, presentations, and other knowledge products.
-Support project management, documentation, and communication of research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
-Assist in organizing stakeholder consultations, workshops, training programmes, and dissemination events.


Experience

1 - 6 Years


Qualification

-MSc/M.Tech. with specialization in Environmental Engineering- Environmental Science- Energy Studies- Sustainability- Civil Engineering- or a related discipline.
-Experience of working on LCA projects for atleast 6 months.
-Experience in environmental assessment- sustainability research- life cycle assessment- or related analytical work through academic projects- internships- or professional engagements.
-Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.


Skills

-Strong understanding of LCA- carbon footprinting- and environmental sustainability assessment frameworks.
-Knowledge of resource efficiency- and circular economy principles.
-Ability to conduct literature reviews- evidence synthesis- and technical research.
- Strong analytical- problem-solving- and critical-thinking abilities.
-Excellent technical writing and report preparation skills.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
-Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
