Project organization

The overall organization of the NSS India consisted of a Study Team, a Steering Committee, and a Technical Advisory Group comprising several short-term national experts. The organizational structure of the NSS is shown in the below chart.

Project funding

A major part of the study was financed by the Swiss Government through the World Bank. The World Bank provided support during the preparation of the study and technical assistance during its performance including monitoring. The Government of India provided in-kind support.
