Tiny minority tilting energy balance to one side is leading to large-scale catastrophes across the world: R K Krishna Kumar, Trustee, Tata Trusts at Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture 2021

Relentless rise in energy consumption has led to increasing degeneration of the environment, R K Krishna Kumar said in his Special Address at the centenary celebration of Mr Seth's birth anniversary.


"Energy is a universe itself in a fundamental level. The higher the use of energy the higher will be the waste generation which the developed economies tend to ignore," Mr R K Krishna Kumar, Trustee, Tata Trusts said in his Special Address on 'Energy and the Mirage of Progress' on August 24, 2021.

The 20th Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture marked the 100th birth anniversary of our founder- Darbari Seth. The event saw the presence of esteemed dignitaries from the Government, Tata Group, and fellow business leaders of Mr Seth remembering and honouring the visionary that he was.
