Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, delivered the keynote address on Visionary Leadership for Mainstreaming Sustainable Development and Climate Resilience at the inaugural session of the World Sustainable Development Summit 2023 held in New Delhi. In his speech, Shri Yadav said that combating Climate Change, Biodiversity loss and land degradation transcends all political boundaries and hence is a shared global challenge.

The Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) and TERI signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 14 February 2023 at the SPMCIL Corporate Office. The MoU, with an estimated cost of Rs 525.49 lakh, is for the integrated development of village for Social Development – Model Village - Siroliya, District - Dewas, Madhya Pradesh under CSR initiatives of SPMCIL.

All modes of transportation (maybe other than air) should, given the current scenario, converge to hydrogen-fuelled vehicles in the long-term. Given the resource and technology constraints, as a short to medium-term solution, hybrid CNG cars may be preferred over EVs for the personal vehicle segment, while hydrogen-fuelled vehicles could be adopted for heavy and passenger vehicles (buses).
