The project aims to develop financially independent knowledge centre that can act like a vehicle to support the translational research in Nano-Biotechnology. The Centre's focus will be on developing critical processes, structure and network, evaluation and review mechanisms that enable transformational research in Nano-Biotechnology by networking domain experts, directing the focus on problems and challenges of relevance and marketable propositions.

Implementation of Watershed Development

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in association with the Department of Agriculture, Government of Goa is implemeting a watershed project aimed at helping conserve natural resources and thereby increasing crop productivity and aiding income generation activities to create better climatic conditions. Funded by a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS), Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (WDC-PMKSY) in 2015-16. The continuation of WDC-PMKSY has been allowed by Government of India on 15.12.2021 as ‘WDC-PMKSY 2.0’ for the project period of 2021-2026.

Preparation of National Survey on R&D Resources 2018-19 covering the time duration of 2015-16, 2016-2017 and 2017-18

The Green School, A TATA Steel-TERI initiative

The Green School project by TERI, in association with Tata Steel Limited, aims to create awareness and understanding about environmental issues in school campuses in the operational areas of Tata Steel. The project is meant to create awareness among students on climate change and the ways sustainable lifestyle can help mitigate the adverse impact of climate change. This is done by promoting environmental stewardship through both classroom and outdoor activities to improve students' critical, interdisciplinary and holistic thinking.

The main objectives of this project are to: (1) Work on secondary-loop mobile air conditioner (SL-MAC) work in India especially through effective outreach about the environmental benefits and fuel savings to government and non-government organizations with the intent to speed commercialization; (2) Continue working with EESL et al. on making available affordable in India super-efficient room AC with lower-GWP refrigerants will be successful. This work includes coordination and support for a procurement of subsequent tenders of room ACs;

Electric Mobility Paradigm Shift: Capturing the Opportunities

While there are several technologies like hybrid EV, plug-in hybrid vehicles, all electric/battery EV and fuel cell vehicles that can help achieve these objectives, this paper focuses only on all-electric/battery EV, with specific attention to passenger vehicles only.
