350 students from 30 tricity schools participated in the sustainable Environment project of Tricity

A workshop on 'waste management' under the national project 'Search' was conducted by TERI at The Millennium School, Mohali. The workshop dwelled upon sensitization, education and awareness on recycling for a cleaner habitat, wherein more than 350 students from 30 Tricity schools took part in the series of activities involving competitions focusing on how to dispose the plastic in an environment friendly way. On the occasion, a session on sustainable consumption too was held for teachers and students which dwelled on spirit of analytical thinking and scientific temperament in saving the environment.
