Aarti Narain works with the Communication Outreach & Advocacy Unit of the Institute as the area convenor for the group responsible for TERI’s annual flagship event, the World Sustainable Development Summit. Her primary responsibilities include ideating, coordinating and implementing TERI's sustainable development outreach activities to facilitate a greater impact of the Institute's larger sustainable development goals.
Her professional engagements, prior to the Institute, in the arenas of peace-building, filmmaking, art history and manuscripts enclose a wide gamut of experience and interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders. She holds a Masters in Medieval Indian History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi built upon Bachelors in History Honours from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
She has also researched for various projects of the Lalit Kala Akademi, India's National Academy of Art; the National Mission for Manuscripts - an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Government of India and Project Tiger.
