The Power Consumption Monitor is a user-friendly tool that allows you to control your household electricity consumption and, hence, the electricity bill. It alters energy consumption patterns by helping you substitute conventional appliances with energy-efficient ones. The tool also calculates the impact of changes in consumption patterns of various appliances during different times of the day, which is then reflected in the electricity bill.

This tool is designed to help calculate the approximate energy consumed by most home appliances and the monthly electricity bill. Select size of home from one of the menu. Certain input fields will appear, where you must fill in details of the type and number of appliances in your house. Default wattages for appliances are listed in the next column. Enter the duration for which the appliances are operated. In case you use them more than once in a day, enter the usage time in multiple input fields.
