  • Time-of-day metering system may see light of day

    The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission is presently going through a proposal submitted by the Delhi government's power department to start a pilot project in three residential areas for implementing Time-of-Day (TOD) Metering system. The pilot study - to be implemented by TERI - proposes to cover three residential areas, which include group-housing societies in Rohini, Dwarka and Mayur Vihar.

    TERI has decided to sell its patented product 'Oil zapper' through US-based Glory Oil. TERI's product uses a special variety of microorganism to clear oil spills. TERI is also looking to other oil producing nations for selling its product.
