  • TERI to now extend focus to woman power plan

    In its efforts to take forward the solar lanterns to unelectrified villages, TERI is planning to further its project of encouraging solar woman entrepreneurs to Sagar, the largest island in the Sunderbans, West Bengal. TERI is looking at the feasibility of getting funded for the project from both national and international sources, for which it has prepared two proposals.

  • Move to market prices of kerosene, LPG: TERI

    The oil industry has called for shifting to market-determined prices for all petroleum products, including LPG and kerosene. Concurring with the assessment made by TERI, the industry has pointed out that any dual pricing strategy for petroleum products like kerosene will lead to leakages in the system and will be difficult to control.
