  • TERI pledges to adopt five villages in Pakistan under the aegis of Lighting a Billion Lives Campaign

    At Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS) marking its 10th year, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has pledged to adopt five villages in Chakwal district, Pakistan under the aegis of TERI's 'Lighting a Billion Lives' (LaBL) campaign.

    The pledge was taken at the LaBL Music Concert making an attempt to bring light into the lives of those still living in darkness. Junoon, the popular rock band from Pakistan, performed live in support of TERI's 'Lighting a Billion Lives' campaign.

    Dr Farooq Abdullah, Hon'ble Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, Pakistani High Commissioner Shahid Malik, Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda were some of the prominent personalisties present at the concert. The concert was organised by Wizcraft.
