gender and energy workshopTERI is hosting a workshop on 'Gender and Energy: Energy Access and Women's Changing Social Position' in Bengaluru under the aegis of Gender and Energy Network India (GENI), to promote the exchange of ideas and collaboration on the theme of gender inclusion in sustainable energy access. The workshop aims to brainstorm and initiate a dialogue on unbundling the complexities of energy’s impact on women and how these might be channelled towards changing women's social positions and overall empowerment.

The workshop is supported by the International Network on Gender and Sustainable Energy (ENERGIA) and the Low Carbon Energy for Development Network (LCEDN). It will be held at the TERI Southern Regional Centre, 4th Main Cross Road, Domlur II Stage, Bengaluru from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
