1st CharIN India Conference: Enabling e-mobility in India by means of CCS, trendsetter to empower the EV ecosystem

Stakeholders of the Indian EV-market and experts from CharIN and EV-related industries will meet during the 1st CharIN India Conference, scheduled for May 11th, 2018 in New Delhi to discuss about the future of e-mobility in India powered by the Combined Charging System (CCS). This one-day conference consists of technical speeches, a panel discussion, and networking opportunities.

It is being organized in cooperation with the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) as well as the VDA (the German Association of the Auto-mobile Industry). The introduction will be made by the CharIN Global Managing Director André Kaufung and the Indian Managing Director Sivam Sabesan. The welcome note will be given by the First Secretary Industrial Affairs of the German Embassy in India.

During the conference, Indian contributors (including TERI) as well as speakers from Asia and Europe, as for example the TÜV Süd, will discuss the future of e-mobility powered by CCS becoming the global standard for all charging battery-powered electric vehicles. The conference will include a panel discussion, technical sessions and a networking dinner in the evening.

The technical sessions will cover topics like conformance testing, PLC modem integration and grid related issues with experts who will provide profound technical knowledge to the participants.

Among others, the Indian CharIN Steering Committee member Mahindra will be sharing their experience with e-mobility and the EV charging infrastructure powered by the Combined Charging System (CCS).
