Call for papers

We are seeking the submission of high-quality and original research papers. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts on the basis of the originality of the work, the validity of the results, chosen methodology, writing quality, and the overall contribution to the field of digital libraries.
Topics for contributions include the following.

  • DL development and management
  • Content organization and management
  • DL architecture and access management
  • Knowledge management
  • Digital preservation
  • DL standards and policy
  • Thesauri and ontologies, semantics, metadata, and retrieval
  • Open archives initiatives/PMH
  • Multilingual and inter-operability
  • Copyrights issues in digital environment
  • DL services and applications
  • Collaboration and networking between public libraries
  • Digital initiatives of public libraries

Papers must be written in English, conforming to the submission guidelines. Each paper should contain abstracts with a list of about five keywords. The paper should also mention the topic under which it falls from the above list of topics.

It is expected that all accepted papers will be presented at the conference by the author(s). A few papers shall also be selected for the poster sessions. The conference proceedings will be distributed on the days of the conference.

Papers should be submitted in MS Word (2000) format. The word limit for each paper is limited to 5000 words. For details please refer to Paper Submission Guidelines.
