Continuing our endeavor on fostering responsible and impactful social and environmental practices amidst the changing landscape of business responsibility, TERI-BCSD is pleased to invite you to a residential programme on 'Climate, Ecosystems and Sustainability Nexus - Making the Business Case for Corporate leadership' at TERI-RETREAT, Gual Pahari, Gurgaon on 17-19 July 2013.

The two and half day intensive residential programme is for the Middle and Senior Management of organisations representing cross-functions and other LOBs. Adopted from WBCSD's (World Business Council for Sustainable Development) Business Ecosystem Training (BET) Program and enriched by TERI's research of more than 3 decades, the programme aims to enable a deeper understanding to integrate the climate- ecosystems and sustainability nexus into business practices, and to manage the risks and opportunities in an inclusive and profitable manner.

Program Focus

  • Critical insights on the Climate, Ecosystems and Sustainability Nexus and material issues for businesses
  • Ready reckoner for regulatory requirements and why it is a good practice to go beyond compliance
  • Tools and Methodologies to lead and steer business justified sustainability initiatives
  • Project ideation sessions with experts and discussions with policy makers
  • Sharing case studies from select participating organisations
TERI-BCSD believes in enabling businesses to undertake innovative projects whose successes are measured by the impact generated/created. The programme is a mix of presentations by experts, knowledge sharing between delegates and group activities which will serve as a platform to deliberate on subjects of current relevance and facilitate making the business case for projects to fulfill the environmental and social responsibilities.
