Four Asian country reports (from India, Bangladesh, China, and Indonesia) provide a detailed assessment of the potential application of the CDM. Each report discusses the government policy on CDM, current and projected emissions, GHG mitigation options, and ongoing AIJ projects. CDM project opportunities are examined under the broad categories of renewable energy, industrial energy efficiency, power generation, and transport. This includes a detailed analysis of incremental cost, national abatement potential, and project benefits.
