TERI strives to sustain a global vision to encompass the universal nature of problems that human society faces today and may face in the future. Its activities move from formulating local- and national-level strategies to developing global solutions. Over the years, TERI's global affiliates and centers have developed strong collaborations with like-minded institutions and important organizations to further the cause of sustainable development.
Headquaters
TERI's headquarter is located within the India Habitat Centre complex, one of the best and well known addresses in Delhi. It has a 7-storey building, with a total floor space of 5500 square metres. This building houses first-rate laboratory facilities particularly for advanced research in biotechnology, microbiology, tissue culture, indoor air pollution, water quality, and chemical technology. It also houses videoconferencing facility, state-of –the art library, two conference halls, and several meeting rooms.
