Youth - e'cool'ogical guardians

Youth - the most vibrant and dynamic segment of a nation's population is an essential part of society. It is the most natural source of creativity and enthusiasm, having the necessary drive to address matters of concern. Well networked and technologically more advanced, this new generation has the ability to use its creativity and dynamism to solve some of the most critical issues we face today.

Climate Change

Since the 1980s TERI has been delving into understanding the science, studying impacts, framing policies and sensitizing people about this problem.
When many dismissed the reality of climate change, it was one of the first research institutes to study the phenomenon.
Over the years TERI's contributions have been an enormous benefit to the international debate on climate change.

Earth Day 2010

Celebrating 40th anniversary of the International Earth Day, TERI website homepage presented an earth look and highlighted the institute's various initiatives-Earth Day Week celebrations with school children, Nationwide Paper Bag Making campaign, the Earth Day : an animation film and Ecological Meltdown: a publication assessing the impact of unchecked human growth on the earth's natural systems.
